Yen Bach Truong is a Research Team Leader and Principal Research Scientist at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO)’s Manufacturing business unit. She holds a Master in Analytical Chemistry from RMIT University and a PhD in Chemical Engineering in Fibre Science from Monash University, Australia. She has been working in the development and fabrication of electrospun nanofibres materials for a range of applications and has published over 65 peer-reviewed papers in this area. She chaired the Inaugural International Conference on Electrospinning (Electrospin 2010) in Melbourne, Australia, in 2010. She has been invited to give more than more than 20 oral presentations at international conferences, seminars and workshops.
