Paweł Sajkiewicz

Pawel Łukasz Sajkiewicz is a professor of Materials Engineering and Biomedical Engineering, head of the Laboratory of Polymers and Biomaterials at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IPPT PAN). Expert in the field of synthetic and natural polymers, their structure and properties, in particular in the area of electrospun micro/nanofibers, both from fundamental and applied perspective as biodegradable scaffolds for tissue regeneration. Graduate of the Faculty of Materials Science at the Warsaw University of Technology, PhD and habilitation at IPPT; postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Tennessee, Materials Science and Engineering Department, Knoxville, Tennessee, USA. He has published over 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
