Tong Liu

Tong Lin obtained his Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1998. He is currently a Chair Professor at Tiangong University in China. His research encompasses electrospinning technology, functional fibers, smart textiles, polymers, and their novel applications across various fields. He has written or co-written more than 320 peer-reviewed journal articles, 37 books/book chapters, and over 100 other papers.

Invited lecture will highlight the extraordinary results from Professor Tong Lin’s investigations into the field of acoustoelectric nanofibers. The presentation will include groundbreaking discoveries, the quest for new materials, performance enhancements, and novel applications in sound detection, sound recording, speech recognition, noise power generation, as well as thermal-acoustic-electric conversion.
