Ji-Won Jung

Ji-Won Jung is currently an assistant professor at School of Materials Science and Engineering in University of Ulsan (UOU), Republic of Korea. He received a Ph.D. degree in the Department of materials science and engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2018. From 2019 to 2020, he was a postdoctoral associate at MIT. He returned to KAIST and worked at Applied Science Research Institute at KAIST as a postdoctoral associate. His research interests focus on developing energy storage materials for advanced rechargeable batteries such as metal–ion batteries, lithium–metal batteries, and solid–state batteries. Ji-Won Jung has authored more than 75 scientific publications in the field of advanced rechargeable batteries.
